during the creation of hydroid i spent a lot of my time studying the pond in my backyard & the waters around it. each day i would go out 3-4 times with my camera & shoot photos of scenes that i thought were visually astonishing. i became engrossed by the sounds it would make when it rained & the hidden colours it would unshell in the sun as i opened voice memos on my phone. between running down to the pond capturing the light pulsing off the water to watching old national geographic documentaries on hydroids and aquatic ecosystems, i was more than inspired to create a soundtrack that would encapsulate my curiosity & blissful feeling of being so connected to 𐍅𐌰𐍄𐍉.

thank you for taking the time & lending your ears ❍

submerge with me as we sink together through this aquatic adventure just to float up into a gliss pool protected by rediscovered ancient reefs.
